Private strength coaching

Carry more. Move with intent.

Brass Atlas is patient, one-to-one coaching for people who want real strength without guesswork. We start by measuring, build progressively and keep it going long after the first month.

The method

Strength, charted carefully

No punishment workouts and no one-size templates. Three principles run through every session.

Measure before load

We look at how you squat, hinge, push, pull and carry before adding weight, so every program starts from where your body actually is.

Progress in small steps

Training runs in short blocks with a clear aim for each one. Weights, reps and rest change on purpose, never at random.

Teach, don't just count

You learn why each lift is there and how it should feel, so you can train with confidence on your own too.

Programs

Choose how you want to be coached

Every format uses the same assessment and progression. What changes is how often we meet and where.

Wren Halloway

Wren started Brass Atlas for people who felt lost in busy gyms: capable, curious, and tired of programs that ignored how they actually live.

Sessions are calm, precise and quietly demanding. Expect clear cues, honest feedback and a plan that fits around work, family and recovery.

  • Technique first, then intensity.
  • Your pain-free range sets the pace.
  • Progress is tracked, never guessed.
Getting started

What your first session looks like

No fitness test to pass and nothing to prove. The first meeting is about understanding, not exhaustion.

  1. Conversation

We talk through your goals, training history, injuries and the time you realistically have.

  2. Movement screen

A few simple patterns show how you move now and where to begin safely.

  3. Practice lifts

Light, coached sets of foundation lifts so you leave having already learned something.

  4. Your first block

You get a clear plan for the coming weeks and a recommended format.

Questions

Before you enquire

Common questions about fitness level, injuries and scheduling. Ask anything else in the form.

Do I need to be fit already?

No. Programs start from your current ability. Many clients begin with bodyweight and light loads, and progress from there.

I have an old injury. Can I still train?

Often, yes. We work within a comfortable range and adapt exercises as needed. For recent or unresolved issues, please check with a medical professional first.

What equipment do I need for remote coaching?

Whatever you have access to. Plans are written around your equipment list, from a full gym to a pair of adjustable dumbbells.

How often should I train?

Two to three strength sessions a week suits most people. We'll agree on a rhythm you can keep up, not just survive.
